These are not cheap shipping container wheels made from 3rd world countries. Every kit is assembled by certified welders in Cypress, Texas, from USA steel — and tested before it ships.
Certified welders. DOT-guided design. All of our shipping container wheel kits are assembled in confidence by our Certified Welders right here in Texas. The shipping container wheels adhere to all DOT Guide lines in their design for engineering. Units are designed so when the weight of the container is on the shipping container wheels, the lug in the keyway is unable to rotate due to flat surfaces making contact.
Vertical + diagonal gusseting. All of the shipping container wheel kits we manufacture, and sell are engineered with vertical, and diagonal supports to the lug and the spindle. (Other designs sold online secure their units loosely in the ISO shipping container lugs using hardware bolts and straps not designed for the intended purpose.)
Built to outlast the container. Our shipping container wheels are designed to last. Made from USA steel.

About one minute
per corner
Lift the corner
Raise one end of the container with a jack or forklift until the bottom corner casting clears the ground.
Insert the lug
Slide the Lug head into the bottom corner casting. Flat surfaces seat against the casting so the unit cannot rotate under load.
Tighten & mount wheel
Snug the hardware, mount your wheel on the idler hub, and repeat on the other corner. About one minute per side.
Roll it
Lift the opposite end with a light-duty forklift or tractor and roll — walking pace or less.

How does it work?
These shipping container wheel kits are your fastest and easiest solution by quickly installing an Idler Hub Spindle into the bottom corner of a shipping container. Just insert the Lug head into the bottom corner of the shipping container. These units are secured tightly and unable to rotate or become disconnected while in use yet can be disassembled quickly. Now, you can lift one end of your shipping container and roll it to any location you desire.
Can these wheels be used on public roads?
The shipping container wheel kits are for non-public road use ONLY. Such as moving containers around a parking lot, farm, or construction site are just a few example. Operate at Low speeds. (They DO NOT contain a braking system.) We've tested our container wheel kits throughout the country moving containers throughout rough terrain, gravel parking lots, sandy soil and forests.
Can you make custom container wheels?
Yes, we can also make custom container wheel kits for any application.
Do the kits include wheels and tires?
No. Each wheel kit includes 2 spindle + idler hub assemblies with hardware. You supply the wheels and tires that match the bolt pattern you order — 5 × 4.5, 5 × 5.5, 6 × 5.5 or 8 × 6.5.
How fast can I install a set?
Installation takes about one minute per corner. Lift the end of the container, insert the Lug head into the bottom corner casting, tighten, and mount your wheel.
